Well this is going to probably piss off a few Fiero Die Hard fans, but I had to, the more I looked at my car the more I'm thinking I should just make it as ridiculous as possible..........well until the body is being done then I'll make it more clean and refined, for now it's drift wing and silliness! Don't worry though, there is going to be no stancing.
Now to the serious part, I found the location for the headlights, the radiator makes finding the proper location a little difficult, it's tight, very tight, heck I'd still like to narrow them up a bit but if I do so I won't be able to remove the rad cap. Now I just need to finish the mount for the lights, gotta design a bracket to hold the remaining mounting points to the frame.
With the lights being mounted I wanted to get the bumper and fenders to sit right, so I started trimming them, after I was on a roll and maybe went a bit overboard, grabbed the hood, trimmed that, the pop up lids, yup cut that.......then what the heck grabbed the hood extractor and cut that. Now I have a good idea that isn't just in my head of how the car is going to look. The bumper, hood and fenders will need a little love to get it fitting around the lights proper, there is a slight curve difference between the Fiero parts and the 300zx lights but it isn't that far out, mainly the hood is more flat of a curve than the lights, so trim and recurve the hood to the bumper, shouldn't be that difficult.
What do you think?
