The horror show continues

Still progressing in the wiring department, it's quite literally a horror show, so many wires all going places........although last night I was able to extend the front lighting wiring harness and I pulled out the 300zx headlights so that I can figure out how and where I'm going to mount them. Only a couple wires left to extend, MAF wiring (about 6"), raditator fans, trunk release and license plate illumination, then I gotta tie them down and finish all the connections that didn't have factory connection (aftermarket gauges, headlight connections for the 300zx headlights, door locks). Lastly I still have stereo wiring to run.......as you can probably see in the photo's I'm running out of room around the shifter for wires to be run, I think it's going to be pretty tight.

Sunday busy Sunday

Been a busy day here, basically just knocked out a bunch of wiring, like almost all of it, well not really all but a very large part of it. Most of the stock main harness wiring is hooked up and run, there's a couple things still to do for that harness. Next it'll be running the wires to the front for the lights and rad fans, gotta add over 200' of wire there, going to be pretty crazy. Guess on top of that I still have to run the wiring and hoses for the aftermarket devices and gauges, plus I need to run some wiring for the stereo system and speakers.......just when I thought it was getting close.

Lastly I dropped the dash back in and did a test fit/look of the whole gauge setup in this beast.........looking very 747.

Few more hours on a Saturday

Got a few more things done today, mostly just grinding away on the hoses, lines and wiring harness, also mounted the meth pump and pulled the main power wire plus did the ground strap for the battery.

Couple more hours of wiring down

Got a few more hours of work done to her this morning/afternoon, mainly focused on the wiring of the engine bay. Today I completed the wiring of most of the aftermarket gauges in the engine bay, pulled those wires into the passenger compartment, started playing around with where to mount the meth pump, also completed the wiring of the taillights.........something interesting for my Fiero friends, a slight adjustment of the tabs on the stock lights and a more modern 3057/3157 bulb will fit no problem, I was going to cut and solder all the older bulbs to the newer ION harness, but I didn't have to as the new bulbs fit with a fine tuning of the lock tab.
